Training overview

Pediatric/congenital cardiac ICU: post-op CHD management, ventilation incl. HFOV, ECMO, TTE/TEE, cardiac cath understanding. Selection by PCSI interview; exit exam. Eligibility: MD/Diploma Pediatrics or Anaesthesia, or DNB/FNB/DM Pediatric Cardiology. 1-2 positions per institution. Pediatric focus.

Eligibility

MD or diploma in paediatrics/anaesthesia, preferably with related paediatric cardiac/ICU experience; or DNB/FNB/DM in paediatric cardiology. State Medical Council/MCI registration and PCSI life membership are required; selection is by PCSI committee interview.
