How to contact a cardiology fellowship programme
A short, respectful way to ask the questions that decide whether to apply, with a checklist of what to confirm in writing.
Read the official page first
Many answers are already published. Reading the programme page, its application instructions and any frequently asked questions before you write shows respect for the coordinator’s time and makes your questions more precise.
Write a short, specific message
Use a clear subject line that names the programme and your question. Introduce yourself in one or two sentences with your current training stage, state the intake year you are asking about, and ask no more than three or four questions. Attach documents only if the programme asks for them.
Questions worth asking
Is the programme recruiting for the year you want, and what is the deadline and time zone? Which route should you use: a match, a portal or direct submission? Are international applicants accepted, and who sponsors the visa? What is the funding or salary, and are fees charged? Who is the correct contact for registration and indemnity?
Keep a record
Save replies with the date and the name of the person who sent them. If a programme answers differently from the published page, ask them to confirm the current rule in writing before you rely on it.
What not to send
Do not email identity documents, passport scans or medical information unless an official application system requests them. CardiacFellow does not collect application documents and cannot forward messages to programmes.
